#10 Bulldogs Fall Short on the Road

The #10 Georgia Military Bulldogs traveled to a neutral site, Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia to face #8 Lackawanna College in a battle of two Top 10 teams.  Despite having a 28-21 lead at halftime and rolling to 551 total yards of offense for the game, the Bulldogs were not able to hang on for the win, eventually losing 47-28 and finishing the regular season with a 9-2 record.

The Bulldogs scored the only touchdown of the first quarter when they scored on a 28 yard touchdown pass from Cameron Rosendahl (SO) with 8:42 left in the period. The Falcons bounced back with the initial two scores of the second quarter. With 10:32 on the clock, GMC scored again, this time on a 48 yard pass play to tie the score at 14-14. The Falcons QB, Pindell, again brought the Falcons back, as he hit Jawan Green on a 9 yard scoring strike. The touchdown would be Lackawanna's last score of the first half. The Bulldogs put points on the scoreboard again, as GMC scored on another pass, a 22 yard strike with 04:11 on the clock; and a 3 yard run with 41 seconds left in the half. Cameron Rosendahl finished the game with 350 yards on 18 of 27 passing with 3 TD's and an INT.  Isaac Zico came up big with 9 catches and 216 yards and 2 TD's.  Major Bellamy also had a big game with 10 catches for 126 yards and a TD.  On the ground Kawon Bryant again led the team with 65 yards on 14 carries.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they did not score again after halftime as Lackawanna College scored 4 unanswered touchdowns to complete the win against the Bulldogs. The Georgia Military College Bulldogs will now wait and see about getting an invite to one of the post season bowl games.  It's been a very successful year for the GMC Bulldogs and we thank all those that have supported and followed them all year long.  Information about a possible bowl game will released as the Athletic Department receives.
