Georgia Military College Rifle Shooters will participate in an invitational postal match Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the Parnell Ruark Rifle Range.
The match is sponsored by the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. This 6th International University Air Rifle Match has been extended to all shooters who are eligible to compete in competitions with other universities or colleges in their country. We will be competing against some of the best shooters in Europe.
Head Coach, Mary Ellen Eaton stated, "This is a terrific opportunity for the Rifle Team to be recognized internationally. The team can alwasy say that they competed against another country. We are excited and are looking very much forward to the competition."
The Georgia Military College Rifle Team will enter a Bulldog Varsity Team and an ROTC Team. The postal match is open to the public so come on out and support our JC Bulldog Rifle Team for this unique match against a university in Switzerland.
