The GMC Rifle Team Competed well against the Citadel

Liliana Reyes GMC's air rifle score of 570 is nine points short of the top shooters of the Citadel Co-Ed Team and Clemson's score of 579.  Her top individual target score was 98 out of 100. In small bore her top individual target score was an outstanding 95 for a total score of 535.  The combined scores totaled 1105.

Tristian Swann had an air rifle score of 535 and small bore 529 for a total of 1064.  Jeffrey Glass, in his first time to shoot on an electronic range had 491 in air rifle and 467 in small bore.  He and Raymond Parker experienced their first match at the Citadel's range.  Raymond Parker shot his highest target score of the season with a terrific 91 out of 100.  He had a 508 in air rifle and a 481 in small bore.  The team shot 2012 in small bore and 4104 in air rifle for a total of 4116

Rachel Mangun of Clemson and Colton Poole of the Citadel Co-Ed had the high air rifle scores of 579. Colton Poole of the Citadel had the high small bore score of 566. Georgia Military College's Rifle Team were third in the meet, with the Citadel Co-Ed taking first.

The next match for GMC will be a small bore postal with Oregon State on January 11, 2017.
