The Georgia Military College Sports Medicine Department provides visiting teams and their athletes with a variety of Athletic Training services, supplies, and equipment. A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present at all home events.

The Athletic Training Room is located in Room 21 of the Kidd Wellness Center. The main entrance for Visiting Teams is located on the patio closest to the GMC Soccer Field. The Athletic Training Room will be open two hours before each event and for one hour following the conclusion of the event.

The following items will be provided for visiting teams on the field:

  • Football
    • 10 Gallon Water Cooler & Cups in Locker Room
    • Taping table in Locker Room
    • 55 Gallon Battery Powered Waterboy on Sideline
    • Cooler of Cubed Ice
    • Cooler of Pellet Ice
    • EMS will be at all Junior College Football Games
    • Orthopeadic Physician will be at all Junior College Football Games
  • Men’s/Women’s Soccer:
    • 20 Gallon Battery Powered Waterboy
    • 12 Water Bottles
    • Injury Ice with Bags and Wrap
    • First-Aid Supplies
  • Softball:
    • 10 Gallon Water Cooler
    • Cups
    • Injury Ice with Bags and Wrap
    • First-Aid Supplies

The Georgia Military College Sports Medicine Department will provide the following services to Visiting Teams:

  • Emergency Injury Assessment and Management
  • Taping (Visiting Teams MUST provide taping supplies)
  • Wound Care/First-Aid Management

The Georgia Military College Sports Medicine Department will provide the following modalities to Visiting Teams:

  • Cryotherapy (ice bags, ice cups, cold whirlpool)
  • Heat therapy (heat packs, warm whirlpool)
  • Ultrasound (Must have a note from the School’s ATC or Physician)
  • Electrical Stimulation (Must have a note from the School’s ATC or Physician)
  • Therapeutic Massage/Scraping/Cupping (Must have a note from the School’s ATC or Physician)
