GMC JC Women’s Golf Takes 6th at TWU Invitational

The GMC JC Women's Golf team traveled to Niota, TN, to compete in the Tennessee Wesleyan Spring Invitational. Macy Williams picked up her fourth consecutive top 15 finish shooting an 88-83=171, with the team scoring 372 to take 6th place.

The team continues to grow and improve its games. Gabby Clay picked up a Top 25 finish with a strong showing, and Kaitlyn Bower continues to find her grove, which is a good thing with the National Championship just one month away. Emily Carter and Jada Arnold rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.

Coach Van Horn commented, "We are getting better, and the girls are excited to play at their home course in two weeks. The women continue to work at honing in on the individual parts of their games that need improvement, as they continue to have their sights set on making more history for GMC Women's Golf.

The women will tee up April 24-25 when they host the Inaugural Bulldog Lake Sinclair Invitational at The Club at Lake Sinclair.
