Joseph Eaglin is entering his second season with the Bulldogs as the cornerbacks coach. Eaglin is originally from Baton Rouge, La., and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2019 with a degree in sports management. While at Southeastern Louisiana, Eaglin served as a student manager with the football program. He joined the Mercer football staff from 2020–2021, working as a quality control coach and with the safeties. Eaglin then joined Jacksonville State University from 2021 - 2022 as a graduate assistant with the safeties and cornerbacks.
