Leland Ready is entering his first season as the Offensive Coordinator/QB’s coach at Georgia Military College.

Ready comes to GMC after spending the 2022 season as the Offensive Coordinator at Coffee High School in Douglas, Georgia, where he also coached the QBs. While at Coffee, the Trojan offense averaged 40 points per game, leading all Division 5A in scoring during the regular season. The Trojans advanced to the Quarter Finals in the GHSA state playoffs.

Ready spent 2020-2021 as the Offensive Analyst at Georgia Southern University, where he worked with the Quarterbacks, Tight Ends, and Running Backs. Ready also served as the assistant to the Head Coach. During his time at Georgia Southern, Ready was also a part of the 38-3 victory over LA Tech in the New Orleans Bowl (2020).

During the 2017-2019 seasons, Ready served as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks coach for the Jeff Davis County (GA) football team.

Before 2017, Ready served for ten seasons in different capacities in the GA High School Football ranks. He served as the WR coach at Morgan County HS (2016), the OC/QBs at Piedmont Academy (2015), Co-OC/WRs at Alcovy High School (2012-2014), Co-OC/RB’s Briarwood Academy (2010-2011), Assistant OL South-West GA Academy (2009), OL/DL Piedmont Academy (2007-2008)

Coach Ready is married to Katie Ready, and they have one son, Spence.
The Ready family currently resides in Milledgeville, GA.
