Sixty-Six Bulldog Student-Athletes Receive Academic Honors

Our GMC JC Student-Athletes once again proved that success on the field starts with success in the classroom as every program had players earn the right to be included on the fall 2020 Dean's List or Presidents list. The Dean's list honors students with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.7 while the President's list honors students with a GPA over 3.7.  32 Bulldogs earned the right to be included on the Dean's List while 34 claimed spots on the President's List.

Sixty-Six GMC JC Bulldog Student-Athletes were recognized on the Fall 2020 Academic Honor Rolls. All nine of the GMC Athletic programs were represented with Women's Soccer garnering the top spot with 20 honorees.

Coach Morgan and the Bulldog Women's Soccer program led the pack with 20 recognized student athletes. She was followed on the women's side by Softball (6), Women's Cross Country (5), Rifle (3), Golf (2). On the men's side Men's Soccer takes the top spot with 10 followed by Men's Cross Country (9), Football (5), Golf (4), Rifle (2)

Multiple athletes have made a habit of getting it done in the classroom, but none better than Sophomore Autumn Land who has been on the President's List every term since her arrival. Other sophomores who have earned the right to be recognized on the Presidents List multiple times are Peter Thayer (Men's Golf), Austin Quillian (Men's Golf), Annestelle Montalbano (Women's XC), Beth Eddins (Softball), Jake Toogood (Men's Soccer).

17 other sophomore athletes have worked hard enough to earn recognition on either the President's or Dean's list in multiple terms including Stephen Campbell (Football), Annah Norman (Women's Soccer), Jessica Owens(Softball), Nikki Blake (Women's Soccer), Fernanda Costa (Women's Soccer), Carson Griffin (Women's Soccer), Abbie Venable (Women's Soccer), Caroline Hughes (Softball), Havyn Issac (Women's
