The Georgia Military College Junior College football program enjoyed a winning National Signing Day 2021 on Wednesday, finishing with a record number of 63 players signing national letters of intent to play for the Bulldogs. The GMC 2021 signing class includes 42 high school players from Georgia, who chose to stay in their home state to further their academic and athletic careers. Middle Georgia area signees include: Baldwin County High School wide receiver, Ke'Sean Parks; Jones County High offensive lineman, Matt Adams; Putnam County High offensive lineman, Kameron Butler; and Westside Macon High linebacker, Kennedy Parker. 

Nine of the players signed by GMC competed in GHSA State Championship games in December. Three of the signees – Jalen Addie, Bobby Lee Hutchinson, and Armon Porter – hail from Warner Robins High School and were crowned GHSA Class AAAAA Champions for the Demons. The remaining individuals who have chosen to attend GMC starting in fall 2021 are from Florida (12), South Carolina (5), Alabama (3), and Tennessee (1).

Thanks to the successful National Signing Day, the GMC Bulldogs football program was able to fill a number of needed positions on the team, especially up front on the offensive and defensive lines. "You win games up front," said GMC head football coach and interim Athletic Director, Rob Manchester, "and we made sure that we addressed our needs of getting great size and height." This is the first season with Manchester at the helm of the Bulldogs football and athletic programs, replacing longtime head football coach and AD, Bert Williams, who retired in November.

"I cannot express how appreciative I am of the tireless effort our four-man coaching staff – Taylor Burks, Ross Robinson, Reggie Rhodes, and Parker Williams – put into this recruiting class. They pulled off an amazing task and deserve all of the credit for bringing in so many families and prospects to the GMC-Milledgeville campus," Manchester said.

Manchester also credited GMC President William Caldwell for his guidance in keeping the GMC campuses open, allowing the GMC Athletics Department to host players and their families with on-campus visits throughout the month of January. "The Milledgeville campus being open also played a major role in the success of the Bulldogs' signing day," Manchester said.
