Men’s Soccer Scores Six to Top Spartanburg Methodist

The #4 nationally ranked Georgia Military Junior College Men's Soccer team won their second consecutive game of the season in a match-up against Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers for a final of 6-1.  Adrian Gallegos and Jordan Clark each scored two goals. Elijah Dixon and Jose Gallegos added one apiece, and Alfie rule picked up two saves in the winning effort.

The Bulldogs scored two goals in the first 10 minutes, led by Elijah Dixon, who netted his first of the season at the 7-minute mark. Adrian Gallegos scored 2 minutes later for his team-leading 4th goal of the year. Jordan Clark scored two goals within 20 minutes to extend the lead to 4-0 at the half.

In the second half, Jose Gallegos scored his first of the season at the 75-minute mark, and Adrian scored his second of the game 10 minutes later. The Bulldogs outplayed the Pioneers in every facet of the game and will look to carry the momentum into a trip south against nationally-ranked opponents.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on April 17 when they travel to Daytona State for a rematch at 2 pm, followed by a game on April 18 with Fort Lauderdale University at noon.
