Men’s Soccer Scores Nine to Top Spartanburg Methodist

The #6 nationally ranked Georgia Military Junior College Men's Soccer team won their 3rd game of the season as they dominated Spartanburg Methodist College 9-1. Sophomore forward Kyle Jordaan led the scoring with three goals, as the offense fired shot after shot. Alfie Rule saved a penalty kick to keep the momentum going.

It was an offensive onslaught for the Bulldogs as they dominated every aspect of the game to claim their third win of the season and improve their record to 3-2-1. The Bulldogs scored early and often and led 4-1 at halftime. Kyle Jordaan's three goals were the offensive highlight, but five players scored, including Adrian Gallegos, Jordan Clark, Bjoern Engeltoft, and Pedro Arantes. Rule didn't see much action in goal, but when tested, he rose to the challenge.

The team will open conference play this weekend as they travel to rival Andrew College on Sunday, April 25, for a 2:00 pm matchup.
