GMC JC Women’s Soccer Drops Close Match to South Georgia State College

On Tuesday evening, the Georgia Military College JC Women's Soccer team took on the South Georgia State College Hawks at home in a fierce conference match. The Bulldogs battled hard but came up short, losing 2-0.

It was a hard-fought match, and each team had its chances. The Hawks scored a goal midway through the first half, but the Bulldogs kept fighting. In the second half, the Bulldogs controlled most of the play and had plenty of scoring opportunities but could not find the back of the net. The Hawks extended their lead at the 57-minute mark and held on for the win.

Coach Morgan commented, "South Georgia was the better team tonight. They deserved the win and wanted it more than us. We didn't give up, but we also couldn't capitalize on our opportunities; that was our downfall tonight."
