NJCAA #10 Bulldogs pick up another win on the road

The #12 Bulldogs (8-1) continued their strong play as they roll to their 8th win in a roll by beating Arkansas Baptist College on Saturday in Little Rock, AR.  The Bulldogs jumped out to a 46-6 halftime lead and never looked back as the win was again a total team effort.

Leading the way, as he has all year long, Cameron Rosendahl (SO) came out firing and ended up 9 of 11 passes for 267 yards and 2 TD's with his main target, Isaac Zico (SO) who ended up with 148 yards and 1 TD.  Rosendahl led the offense to 526 yards in total offense to overwhelm the Stampede. Kawon Bryant (SO) again led the rushing attack with 85 yards on 14 carries for 3 TD's.  Both Major Belamy (FR) and Nathaniel Harvey (SO) pitched in on the cause with 62 and 60 yards respectively.

The Bulldog defense continues to be stingy as they continue to limit their opponents both on the ground and in the air.  GMC limited the Stampede to only 46 yards on the ground with allowing only 1.6 yards a carry.  The defensive effort was led by Ramero Rock (SO) as he had 4 quarterback sacks for a total loss of 25 yards.  Jalen Wade (SO) had a strong performance with 6 total tackles to go long with his sack of the QB.  Chad Stevens (SO) finished with 5 sacks and four other Bulldogs finished with 4 each; Ametrius Williams (FR) , Maurice Williams (SO), Adorian Beach (FR), and Ja'Kalin Lane (FR).

The GMC Bulldogs return home for their final home game at Davenport Field this coming Saturday, November 5th.  It will be "Educators Appreciation Day" as there will be local educators recognized and honored at halftime for their contributions to their students lives.  Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm and all the action can be seen at www.jockjivesports.net.
