The Georgia Military College Men's Soccer team welcomes a large group of new players for the 2017 season. Head Coach Dave Sexton is hoping that the diverse group can come together and gel quickly…and achieve more than last year's squad who were Region Champions and made it to the South East District semi-final.
The team will play a tough schedule against several teams expected to be ranked in the top ten in the NJCAA National Poll, and Coach Sexton hopes this will prepare the Bulldogs for the all-important Region 17 games.
Returning players are often key to a team's success, and Coach Sexton expects the following sophomores to continue their good work from previous seasons: Ricky Ortiz, Luke Deacy, Tinashe Chabata, Matt Shamoun, Matheus Brandao and Jonni Turner. Additionally, significant contributions are expected from the incoming players listed below.
