The Georgia Military College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will be competing today for the Georgia College Athletic Association conference championship in Macon, GA at the Georgia Industrial Children's Home.  Fast times will be expected as the course is primarily flat with few hills for the athletes to traverse.  There will be 4 colleges competing: Central Georgia Tech, South Georgia, Emory-Oxford University and the Bulldogs of GMC.  The men will run at 4:45 pm and will compete in an 8k while the women will run immediately after the men finish and will run a 5k.  

This year has been another banner year for both programs as there are already both men and women's runners that have qualified for the National Championships' in November.  The Women's Team is currently ranked #6 in the nation among the USSTFCCA NJCAA Division III programs according to the latest coaches poll.
